Iron Cocktail Lounge in Cologne

I haven't liked it the last few times and I find it extremely expensive now ... it used to be much more comfortable and better ... employees seem arrogant to arrogant and a waiter was anything but sober at late hours ... but great location !

We had a super nice evening with you! The cocktails were incredibly delicious and the prices for a city like Cologne were quite normal - when you see that high-quality foods are used in the preparation (organic cucumbers, lemons, etc.) more than fair! We especially want to thank Matthias for the pleasant time with you at the Iron. You rarely see someone in service who is so (hospitable) friendly and warm and who also takes their time. We wish you strong nerves for the upcoming lockdown. After that we will definitely be back!

I think the store has slacked off massively and doesn't care much about the current pandemic restrictions. Service heartless to arrogant, prices high, quality only mediocre. But you sit without a distance of 1.50 m and can squeeze yourself through people on the sidewalk ... not very exemplary and, as I think, also inconsiderate because when asked it only said: "Not our problem". What a shame, It used to be really nice ...

We had a great experience here. We recommend the cocktails with Mezcal, they are so delicious and prepared with expertise and passion. We were so surprised and felt very welcomed by the hosts. Definitely will come back while in Köln.

Cocktails were good but too sweet service was also good. The only reason for star loss is not paying attention to COVID-19 safety things.

Unfortunately, the guests are not looked after as well as they used to be. It all seems very anonymous and somewhat heartless. Unfortunately, the scene feeling is just totally missing. Nevertheless, the cocktails themselves are still mega and super tasty.

Nice cocktails and service. Dishonest with pricing. Make sure your ask for an itemised bill, otherwise they'll be more than happy to slap on one or two cocktails you haven't had. Don't just accept the card receipt

Great location. Absolutely nice staff and above average selection of drinks. The music always fits and the shop is slowly changing from a bar to a club. You can only drink and then dance - perfect. The price is not cheap, but the quality plays a role, so that's okay. We always like to come.

The absolute burner! The quality of all cocktails is world class! Filigree, balanced, rich in contrast - no matter ... I've already got everything here. The crew, especially Chris, was and is always in "good spirits", the atmosphere of the hammer. Personal taste preferences are asked, the advice is always great.

Great location in Cologne - the staff is super nice, open and helpful and there is something for everyone in the drinks: from non-alcoholic cocktails and soft drinks to a simple, tasty Kölsch, to sophisticated cocktail creations with partly homemade and in high quality ingredients. The parties at the Iron are always worth a visit - a diverse, equally open and nice audience, good music and great atmosphere.

Nice place for the carnival time. Nice location, friendly staff, everything was great. We'll be back next year. Best wishes

Loved it! Great cocktails, amazing staff whom are so friendly and nice to chat with, no language barrier which made ordering so much easier and the drinks were great!

The drinks are good, the personel is great (when you speak a little vit german especially). You have to pay for the toilets. It's rather crowded and the crowd varies per night. The music is nice though

Last week i went there with 3 friends and once we arrived to the door,the doorkeeper said to me that i can not go in because of my pants.then we went to a dark place with my 3 white friends..i gave my pants to one them to go and try if its really because of my pants,he went and go in with my pants without any problem..its really racist

Thats the worst gay place in Cologne. Super overpriced and terrible security. In peak time they may not allow you to come in because you can not drink as much as they expect. Would never recommend it again

Amazing ambiance, delicious cocktails and staff is really fun and friendly. We got recommended cocktails I would have never chosen myself, but they were delicious. One of my favourite places in köln!

LGBT friendly area. Nice cocktails. Best place for some good music and they have a karaoke night too. Cozy atmosphere.

Definitely best gay place in town with a mixed crowd of people - boys and girls. Drinks are pretty good and the staff is awesome (& super hot btw :P).
